چکیده
With the growth of automobile, machinery, and aerospace industries, demand for high-performance surface coatings having multifunctional characteristics use in mechanical parts is increasing. In this study, ternary/quaternary Mo–Cu–Cr–(N) nanocomposite were deposited at different N2 gas flow rates using direct current magnetron sputtering from a multicomponent single-alloy target. The target simplifies deposition process improves coating uniformity. influence nitrogen content was investigated regarding microstructural, mechanical, tribological properties, corrosion resistance these coatings. Mo–Cu–Cr–N containing 30.5 at. % showed structure comprising transition metal nitride phases (Mo–N/Cr–N) high properties resistance, while retaining excellent ternary Mo–Cu–N

XPS Depth Profile Analysis of Zn3N2 Thin Films Grown at Different N2/Ar Gas Flow Rates by RF Magnetron Sputtering
Zinc nitride thin films were grown on fused silica substrates at 300 °C by radio frequency magnetron sputtering. Films were grown at different N2/Ar flow rate ratios of 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80, and 1.0. All the samples have grain-like surface morphology with an average surface roughness ranging from 4 to 5 nm and an average grain size ranging from 13 to16 nm. Zn3N2 samples grown at lower N2/Ar r...
متن کاملAn experimental investigation of performance of a 3-D solar conical collector at different flow rates
The shape of a solar collector is an important factor in solar-to-thermal energy conversion. Conical shape is one of the stationary and symmetric shapes that can be employed as a solar water heater. Flow rate of working fluid on the solar collector has an important effect on the efficiency of the collector. The present study is an experimentally investigated of the performance of the solar coni...
متن کاملFlow and fracture behavior of aluminum alloy 6082-T6 at different tensile strain rates and triaxialities
This study aims to investigate the flow and fracture behavior of aluminum alloy 6082-T6 (AA6082-T6) at different strain rates and triaxialities. Two groups of Charpy impact tests were carried out to further investigate its dynamic impact fracture property. A series of tensile tests and numerical simulations based on finite element analysis (FEA) were performed. Experimental data on smooth speci...
متن کاملChemical and Morphological Characterization of Magnetron Sputtered at Different Bias Voltages Cr-Al-C Coatings
MAX phases (M = transition metal, A = A-group element, and X = C/N) are of special interest because they possess a unique combination of the advantages of both metals and ceramics. Most attention is attracted to the ternary carbide Cr2AlC because of its excellent high-temperature oxidation, as well as hot corrosion resistance. Despite lots of publications, up to now the influence of bias voltag...
